Description
The Vulcano is a high-tier automatic weapon in ARC Raiders that is known for its huge damage and strong armor penetration.
It is seen as a late-game weapon and is popular with players who want pure power in fights. Vulcano fires very fast, hits extremely hard, and can shred both ARC machines and enemy Raiders when used the right way.
Because it has so much force, the gun feels heavy and aggressive, and it works best for players who can control recoil and keep an eye on their ammo.
Vulcano Crafting and Where to Get It
You cannot craft the Vulcano early on.
To even unlock it, you first need to find its blueprint, which usually drops in high-danger zones, boss areas, or Night Raids. After you learn the blueprint, you will need a Level 3 Gunsmith in your hideout.
Crafting the weapon also requires advanced materials such as Heavy Gun Parts, Advanced Mechanical Components, and rare modules found only in risky areas.
Because of this, Vulcano is not a beginner weapon and is meant for players deep into the game.
Upgrading Vulcano (Level I to Level IV)
Just like other weapons, you can upgrade the Vulcano from Level I to Level IV at your Gunsmith bench.
Each upgrade improves important stats like fire rate, reload speed, recoil control, and durability.
Even Vulcano already feels strong, but higher levels make the gun smoother and more dependable.
At Vulcano IV, the weapon reloads faster, shakes less, and stays usable much longer. However, upgrades are very costly, and you’ll need rare items, so upgrading Vulcano is a serious investment.
Best Attachments and Mods for Vulcano
Because of its high power and fast firing speed, Vulcano works best with attachments that reduce recoil and add stability.
A muzzle brake or compensator helps control the kick when you spray bullets. A stable stock or angled grip lowers side-to-side recoil, making it easier to stay aimed at moving enemies.
An extended magazine is extremely helpful too because Vulcano burns through ammo quickly. With the right mods, Vulcano becomes a deadly, controlled, and accurate powerhouse instead of a hard-to-handle beast.
Vulcano in PvP
The Vulcano is excellent in PvP, especially in mid-range fights. If you can stay on target, you can wipe out enemy Raiders in seconds.
Its high damage and armor penetration leave enemies almost no time to escape. But Vulcano punishes mistakes — if you miss shots, you will waste ammo fast, and a slow reload can get you killed.
Up close, shotguns may beat you if they rush in, so positioning and awareness are extremely important.
Vulcano Tier and Meta
Most community tier lists place Vulcano in A-tier or S-tier, especially for skilled players.
Many people see it as one of the strongest automatic guns in the game, but also one of the most expensive to maintain.
The community agrees that Vulcano is worth using if you can handle the cost of ammo, repairs, and upgrades.
Casual players sometimes avoid it due to the price, while experienced players love it for its insane damage and ability to carry fights.
Common Problems and Tips
The main issues with the Vulcano are high ammo use, heavy recoil, and fast durability loss.
The ammo is strong and harder to stash, and firing nonstop will empty your supply quickly.
To use Vulcano properly, try short bursts, aim for the upper body or head, and avoid wasting powerful shots on weak enemies.
Always bring extra ammo and repair kits when you take Vulcano into long missions.
Recommended Loadouts and Playstyle
Vulcano works best as a primary damage weapon, backed up by a quick secondary like an SMG or shotgun for tight close-range fights.
A winning strategy is to control mid-range areas, hold smart angles, and take down enemies before they get too close.
The current meta rewards players who fire carefully and accurately, and Vulcano fits this perfectly.
With good aim, resource management, and smart movement, Vulcano can carry you through some of the toughest battles in ARC Raiders.
