The Eyes in the Sky quest in Arc Raiders can feel frustrating if you don’t know where to go. The quest itself is simple, but the tripods are placed in high and risky locations.
One wrong turn can put you face-to-face with strong enemies or make you lose your loadout.
This guide explains exactly where to go and what to do, so you can complete the quest without wasting time or gear.
In this quest, you need to install three LiDAR Scanners on tripods found across different maps.
You must complete the objectives in a fixed order, starting with the hardest location and ending with the easiest one.
Step 1: Install the LiDAR Scanner in the Dam Battlegrounds
The first LiDAR Scanner is located in the Dam Battlegrounds, and this is the most difficult part of the quest.
The tripod is placed on top of the Control Tower, which is in the southern area of the map, between the Water Treatment Station and the Testing Annex.
After landing, head straight to the Control Tower and enter through the main door. Once inside, take the path on the left and continue walking past the Dam Staff Room door.
Turn right and move forward until you find a breakable door. Use your tool to open it and go inside.
From here, you will find a zipline that takes you up to the top of the building.
Be careful before using the zipline.
There are turret enemies inside the shaft, and you are very exposed while riding the zipline. It is safer to deal with these enemies first before going up.
When you reach the roof, move toward the east corner of the building. You will find the tripod there.
Interact with it to install the LiDAR Scanner, then return to base to move on to the next step.
Step 2: Install the LiDAR Scanner in the Spaceport
The second LiDAR Scanner is located in the Spaceport.
This area unlocks after you have completed 12 matches, so you may not have access to it right away. If the Spaceport is still locked, continue playing until it becomes available.
Once unlocked, drop into the Spaceport and make your way to the Communications Tower. This tower can be a bit hard to spot, but it is located on the right side of the map, next to the Container Storage building.
When you reach the tower, jump over the fence and climb the ladder attached to the side of the structure.
At the top, you will find the second tripod. Install the LiDAR Scanner and safely return to base to continue the quest.
Step 3: Install the LiDAR Scanner in the Buried City
The final LiDAR Scanner is in the Buried City, which is the second map you unlock in Arc Raiders.
You gain access to this area after completing the first three missions, so it should already be available when you reach this quest.
Before entering the Buried City, make sure you bring a zipline with you. This is required to reach the final tripod. Place the zipline in your Safe Pocket so you don’t lose it if you die.
Once inside the Buried City, head toward the Galleria, a building located between the Space Travel building and Dune’s End.
Climb up to the roof and move toward the southeast corner. You will see a tall structure similar to the one in the Spaceport, but this one does not have a ladder.
Use your zipline to aim for the small circular platform near the top of the structure.
Ride the zipline across, reach the platform, and interact with the tripod to install the final LiDAR Scanner. After this, return to base to complete the quest.
Eyes in the Sky Quest Rewards
Completing the Eyes in the Sky quest rewards you with three Tagging Grenades, one Vita Spray, and five Yellow Light Sticks.
The Vita Spray is especially useful early in the game, as it restores health over time and is much better than basic bandages.
